KatKin’s mission is to help more cats eat better quality food. Our super flexible subscription means cat parents can get perfectly portioned, human-quality food, delivered on a schedule that suits them.
Sounds different to regular shop-bought cat food right?
You won’t need to carry heavy boxes of cat food home from the supermarket, or stand in the pet food aisle deciding which brand to try next. Through our website, you’ll need to create an account in order to try the food.
Just head to the KatKin website and click ‘start my trial’ or ‘get started’.
We’ll ask you some questions about the cat(s) you’d like to sign up and suggest a portion size for them specifically.
You can choose from 7 recipes to add to your trial box and you’ll need to select 14 trays in total.
Once you select a delivery date, you’ll receive the bespoke trial box of frozen food to your door.
What happens after the trial?
The trial box contains 2 weeks worth of food or 28 portions in total. After your trial box is delivered, we automatically schedule a full monthly box to arrive 2 weeks later, but don't worry. You can change this delivery date at any time in your account and we’ll send you a text and an email reminder to give you space to make changes if your cat needs a bit more time to switch to their new food.

How often will I get deliveries?
Our standard plan is 28 days worth of food delivered every 4 weeks, starting 2 weeks after your trial box is delivered. You can log in to your account at any time to adjust your delivery schedule, we just need 3 days notice before your next delivery for changes to come into effect.
Our Saver Plan is 42 trays of food delivered every 6 weeks. This plan is the most cost effective way to feed KatKin but it requires more freezer space, approximately the equivalent of 3 loaves of bread or 1 standard freezer drawer.
The Freezer Plan is for cat parents who are short on freezer space. It’s 14 days of food delivered every 14 days (just like the trial box). So if the trial box fits perfectly in your freezer, this plan is for you.
The Half Meal Plan delivers 28 trays every 8 weeks.* Each tray has 2 portions so you can feed one portion per day, alongside another type of cat food. The tray covers two days and then 28 trays last the full 8-week cycle. This plan is for cat parents who want or need to feed KatKin alongside another type of cat food.

How do I store the food?
Your trays are frozen at our kitchen and delivered to your door cold to the touch. They’ll need to be stored in the freezer and defrosted in the fridge for 24 hours before serving. A trial box takes up around half a freezer drawer, or the equivalent of a loaf of bread. Trays can be kept in the fridge for 5 days, or 2 days if opened. Our plans are bespoke for your cat, based on their details. The price depends on which portion they need and the frequency of your delivery but we’d love to give you a tailored price breakdown.

How much food will I get?
Your trial box will contain 14 trays of food. Each tray is made up of 2 portions, and one tray will be the perfect amount of calories your cat needs in a day, without needing any other supplementary food. The portions can be spread across several meals if your cat is more of a grazer, or given in the morning and evening if your cat prefers.
Top Tip! If your cat takes a few days to switch to KatKin, your trial box might last longer than 2 weeks. Delay your next delivery in your account or just reply to the text we send you on Day 10 of your trial to easily push back the order.
What if I don’t want scheduled deliveries?
No problem! Our subscription is designed to be as flexible as possible, so there’s a few ways to have one-off boxes or irregular deliveries. This works especially well for cats on therapeutic diets, or if you’re sometimes tight on freezer space. Read our one-off order guide here.
What if I want to stop the subscription?
The subscription is in your control, so you can stop your deliveries at any time in your account. It’s super easy to reactivate a plan too, so if you want peace of mind while you go away or if you need a break, you can resume the subscription at the touch of a button. You can also speak to our Cat Experts 7 days a week if you need help stopping your deliveries.
Is there a delivery fee?
Your trial box delivery is on us! After the trial, each box will have a £2.99 delivery fee attached automatically. The delivery fee is only applied to one plan, so if you have more than one cat or a Scoop subscription, you’ll only pay one delivery fee each month.
Is there a multicat discount?
Yes! A 5% discount is automatically applied to your fresh meal plans when you have more than 1 active cat on your account.
