How to order a box without continuing a subscription

Ordering a one off box

Updated this week

You’ll need to have had an active subscription at some point, in order to place one off orders. Once a trial box has been ordered, customers can log into their accounts at any time to control their deliveries.

If you’ve previously cancelled your cat’s subscription, but a recurring order doesn’t work for you, you can manually place one off orders in your account.

How to order a one off box

  1. Head to your account at KatKin.com/login

  2. Login with the unique code sent to your email

  3. Click ‘Reactivate Fresh’

  4. Click ‘Resume deliveries’ for the cat who you want to reactivate and choose a delivery date that works best

  5. Make changes to your recipes, treats or plan once the subscription has been reactivated.

  6. Check a payment has been successfully taken (2 days before your chosen delivery date, or within an hour of restarting your subscription if you chose a delivery date in 2 days time)

  7. On your ‘my plans’ section, click ‘manage plan’ for the cat or Scoop you’d like to cancel

  8. Scroll down to ‘thinking of cancelling?’

  9. Click ‘cancel my deliveries’

  10. Choose your reason for cancelling and click continue (a subscription doesn’t work for me might be the most accurate reason)

  11. Click cancel my subscription.

  12. Your cat’s plan will be inactive and you’ll receive an email to confirm your plan has been cancelled.

Important: If you don’t receive a cancellation confirmation via email, the plan will still be active.

Note: this does require customers to manually restart and cancel their own subscription. Customers are responsible for keeping track of their plans.

Can I order fewer trays without restarting my subscription?

Not exactly. You can order a minimum of 14 trays with KatKin and to do this, a subscription has to be restarted. Future orders can be stopped in your account. Do this by selecting our Freezer Plan when you edit your delivery frequency.

If 14 trays is still too much food, check if our food is stocked at a Pets at Home or Jollyes store near you instead.
