Adding a discount code to your account

To add a discount code to your KatKin account, you need to have at least one active plan.


How to add a discount code if you already have an account with KatKin

  1. To add a discount code, head to your account at KatKin.com/login and log in

  2. Click ‘Manage Plans’

  3. On your ‘My Plans’ page, scroll down to ‘discounts

  4. Put your discount code where it says ‘enter code here’ and click ‘add code

To confirm the discount has been applied, you can also navigate to Manage Plans, select your plan, and open the Price drop-down. This section includes a breakdown showing any discounts applied and your total cost.

I applied a code successfully but it hasn’t reduced the price of my box?

If your discount code wasn’t applied as expected, there are steps you can follow to resolve the issue.

First, check that the code you applied meets the eligibility conditions, such as being valid for the type of order (e.g., trial or ongoing subscription). Check that your discount code is correctly entered (check for capital letters, accidental spaces or Os instead of 0s). Double check if the discount has a deadline or expiry date by reading the email or leaflet where the discount code is located.

Next, log into your account and check your box’s price breakdown to confirm which discounts are active and applied to your order. If the discount isn't applying, but you think it should, reach out to our Cat Experts and include a photo or screenshot of the offer, so we can help.

Discounts that meet our eligibility criteria will automatically appear in the price breakdown of your plan.

Some discount codes are only valid for new customers purchasing trial boxes, and not for recurring orders. Always check eligibility conditions for your discount in your account before applying.

Additionally, codes for trial boxes cannot be used for recurring subscriptions or add-on orders. You can check if a discount code applies to your recurring order by scrolling to the 'discounts' section of your account.

I have multiple discount codes - can I use them all at once?

Discount codes will stack in your account, so if you have a larger discount saved, that code will be used first before smaller discounts. However, only one discount can be applied per order, with additional discounts rolling over to subsequent deliveries. For instance, if you have multiple discounts of 50%, only one will apply per order, leaving others for future orders.

Additionally, our refer-a-friend programme lets you earn 50% discounts when friends use your link for their first trial. Referral discounts are stored in your account and applied one at a time, which means you can benefit from sustained savings over multiple orders.


Not a KatKin customer yet?

Each trial box comes with an automatic 20% discount automatically applied for you. Plus, if you sign up more than one cat, you'll benefit from our 5% multi-cat discount on future orders too.

If you've have another discount code to use for your trial box, just replace the 20% discount with your new code.

Just paste in your code and click 'apply'


What if my referral or trial box discount is going to expire before I can use it?

If your discount code comes with an expiry date or deadline, but you're not ready to start KatKin just yet, that's no problem.

When you sign up for a trial box you can select your trial box delivery date. You can select a delivery date for up to 2 months into the future. Perfect if you're getting a new kitten in the future or if you don't have the freezer space just yet, but you want to take advantage of a great discount or referral from a friend.

Psss.. If you know someone who uses KatKin already, ask for their referral code. When friends use a referral link to start their discounted trial, you’ll both receive a discount as a reward. For referrers, this needs to be manually applied to your account.
