Changing the quantity of trays your cat receives

How to adjust the amount of trays in your cat's box

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At KatKin, you’re always in control of how much fresh food your cat gets - whether you need more trays, fewer trays, or a delivery schedule that better fits your routine.

What determines how many trays you receive?

The number of trays your cat gets in each delivery is tied to your chosen plan. Right now, we offer several options based on how much food you want delivered at once:

  • Freezer Plan - 14 trays every 2 weeks (great if freezer space is limited)

  • Standard Plan - 28 trays every 4 weeks (our most popular option)

  • Saver Plan - 42 trays every 6 weeks (best value per day)

  • Half Meal Plan - 28 trays every 8 weeks (perfect if your cat needs another food alongside fresh)

These plans let you balance freezer space, delivery frequency and the amount of food your cat needs.

How to change the quantity of trays

Right now, you can’t manually pick a tray count outside of our plan options, but you can change which plan your cat is on - and that will adjust how many trays they receive:

  1. Log in to your KatKin account at katkin.com/login.

  2. Click Manage Plans.

  3. Under the cat whose plan you want to change, select Manage Plan.

  4. Choose Edit Delivery Frequency.

  5. Switch to the plan with the number of trays you want.

  6. Click Confirm to save.

Once updated, you’ll receive a confirmation email and the new tray quantity will show on your dashboard.

👉 For example, switching from the Standard Plan (28 trays) to the Saver Plan (42 trays) increases the total food delivered - while moving to the Freezer Plan reduces it.

When to make changes

To make sure your changes apply to the next delivery, we recommend updating your plan at least 3 days before your next scheduled shipment. This gives our packing team enough notice to update your order.
