I don’t see my cat’s medical condition listed

How to sign up to KatKin if your cat's medical condition isn't listed as an option.

During the sign up page for your trial box, we’ll ask if your cat has any of the following medical conditions:

  1. Arthritis

  2. Cancer

  3. Chronic Kidney Disease

  4. Cystitis

  5. Diabetes

  6. Diarrhoea

  7. Epilepsy

  8. Feline Asthma

  9. Hyperthyroidism

  10. Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

  11. Liver Disease

  12. Pancreatitis

  13. Urinary Disease

If your cat has any of those medical conditions listed above:

KatKin might not be suitable for your cat or we think your vet needs to be informed before your cat switches to KatKin.

The medical conditions included on the list at sign-up are the ones which are most likely to need management through diet and nutrition. Cats with conditions such as Heart Disease or Asthma can safely try KatKin with your vet's guidance.

If you don’t see your cat’s medical condition in that list:

You can just select 'No' to continue exploring their trial box.

We'd recommend getting in touch with our Cat Expert team and letting them know more details about your cat's medical condition. Our In-house Vet Team can work with your vet's advice to determine whether KatKin will be suitable for your cat's condition.

For cat's that have a medical condition not listed on our list, but your vet/our team have confirmed that you cat can safely try KatKin, select 'No' to continue signing up. You can then log in to your account and add more details about your cat's condition to your account, so we're aware. See below how to do this in your account once a trial box has been purchased.

For cats who have undiagnosed or general digestive issues which don't fall under "IBD" or "Diarrhoea", please follow the same steps.

We do recommend speaking with your vet before switching to a new food to ensure it aligns with your cat’s specific dietary needs.

If your cat has FIV

While we don’t specifically list FIV+ in our online form, many cats with different conditions can still enjoy KatKin. FIV+ doesn't typically affect a cat’s ability to digest or process food, which is why it's not listed on our sign up page. As always, we recommend choosing a balanced, complete diet and speaking with your vet if you have any concerns about your cat’s specific needs.

Making us aware of your cat's medical condition

If your cat has a condition that you’d like us to know about, you can add that to your online account once a trial box has been ordered.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Login to your KatKin account at Katkin.com/login

  2. Click ‘Manage plans’

  3. Navigate to ‘My Cats’ in the top bar

  4. Click on the cat whose details you’d like to update

  5. Select ‘other’ from the medical conditions drop-down list

  6. Type their medical condition into the ‘additional medical information’ box

  7. Click ‘Save all’
