DPD
Once you’ve downloaded your DPD app
Sign in or up to DPD with the same email address you use for your KatKin account
On the home page, click the settings cog in the top left hand corner
Click ‘delivery address’ and set your home address as ‘home’
This should take you a page that looks like the below screenshot
On this page in the app you can
Pinpoint your exact location or add your what3words to help your driver find the right location. Find your W3W here.
Add a permanent note to help drivers find your house (such as gate codes or directions)
Add a photo of your house to help drivers identify your property
Image above shows the preferences on the DPD address settings page.
Select a preferred neighbour for boxes to be delivered to (such a neighbour who knows the box contains perishable food)
A set safe space for deliveries when you’re not home
For litter orders (not fresh) select a pick up point to collect non-perishable parcels
Tell the courier if you need more time to answer the door
How to set permanent delivery instructions
Choose your preferred safe space.
Scroll down to preferences and select ‘Leave safe’
Select from the options or write your own safe space.
Add a photo of your safe space for the driver.
Choose a neighbour to leave parcels with
Scroll down to preferences and select ‘Preferred neighbour’
Toggle off ‘deliver to any of my neighbours’
Select one neighbour DPD should deliver to if you’re not at home.
Or select a neighbour to avoid.
For litter deliveries:
Scroll down to preferences and select ‘Pickup point’
Choose a preferred shop to collect non-perishable orders from.
Note! If this is selected, DPD will default to sending litter orders to this location without attempting to deliver to your house first. Turn this pick up point off if you’ll be at home to receive your litter delivery.
Yodel
Once you’ve downloaded the Yodel by InPost app
Sign in or up to Yodel with the same email address you use for your KatKin account
You’ll be asked to set up your What3Words, preferred neighbour and safe place straight away.
To edit those settings later on
On the home page, click the 3 lines in the top right corner
Click ‘Account’
Click ‘delivery address’ and then click the address you’d like to adjust your settings for
