KatKin is specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of cats, so it doesn’t contain all the nutrients a dog requires for their long-term health. This is because dogs aren’t obligate carnivores.
Because of this, we wouldn’t recommend using it as their main food, but it’s perfectly fine as an occasional treat. Dogs can safely eat KatKin from time to time. Since our meals are made from 100% human-quality meat and fish, there’s nothing in them that would be harmful to your dog.
🧊 A frozen tray of KatKin in summer is also a great treat to help keep your dog cool.
